Education
The department’s teaching activities focus on delivering full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in Information Technology, as well as a Professional Bachelor’s program in Web Technologies.
The Information Technology program is primarily oriented toward programming and application software development, administration of operating systems and server applications, design and management of database systems, and data handling (SQL, Cypher, CQL, etc.), as well as computer graphics and multimedia technologies.
The Professional Bachelor’s program in Web Technologies is offered in both full-time and part-time formats. It targets all phases of the development and operation of software products and services, with a strong emphasis on modern web technologies.
Research Activities
The department’s research activities are primarily focused on data transmission within transport systems, system integration, measurement automation, mass and statistical data processing, univariate and multivariate models, numerical optimization methods, mathematical and computer modeling, artificial intelligence, information systems and network security, modeling and optimization of business processes, and the use of information and communication technologies in managerial practice.
