Problematics of robotics navigation research and study of weather impact on transmission systems

Provider: Univerzita Pardubice
Programme: Studentská grantová soutěž
Implementation period: 01.01.15 - 31.12.15
Workplace:
Team member: Rozsíval Pavel | Dobrovolný Martin | Fišer Ondřej
Description:
In this part of project will be focus on the problematics of robotics navigation using a fusion of inertial navigation system and visual odometry. The project will extend existing workplace on department of Electrical Engineering of robotics navigation. The part of automatic space mapping will focus mainly on measurement data fusion from different places in specific space. The aim of this fusion is to create detail compact map of ambient space. Parallelly in this research will be develop compensation of own lens distortion. By using lens with lower focal length it is possible to increase height measurement range. The next aim of the project will be processing of the signals from the frequency modulated interrupted continuous wave (FMICW) radars. Signals from the FMICW radars will be analyzed by power spectral density (PSD) methods. The problematic of speech signals analysis will be evolve in this project. The main analysis is concentrate to spectral decomposition of speech signals by using of linear prediction polymodels. The aim of this research is phonemes analysis in speaker?s word by using parametrical spectrum. Subsequent research will be focus on speaker verification. The next part of project will be focus on weather impact on optical wireless links. The new sensors will be used for monitoring atmosphere parameters that help to observe the effect of specific atmospheric parameters for signal transmission. The next aim of the project will be research of possition estimation methods using GNSS (GPS, EGNOS, GALILEO). Increasing of integrity possition estimation is necessary to satisfying the strict requirements of railway.
