Description:
The project is focused on the unification of scientific research activities of Ph.D. students at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics in the calendar year 2023. Within the project, selected research and development tasks focused on the processing of multispectral optical signals from image sensors, predictive control in the field of automation, progressive algorithms for detection, localization, and classification of targets for radar technology, simulation of traffic systems for decision support in traffic models using parallel genetic algorithms, methods of artificial intelligence and machine learning, design of new antenna elements, methods of determining effective reflective surfaces of radar targets, optimization of radar signals and compression filters, as well as modern trends in software development will be solved. Within the project team are four sub-teams with a defined scope and a responsible sub-project leader who is always a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. The work of the sub-teams is intensively supervised throughout the period by the principal investigator.
