cze Algoritmy pro detekci objektů - přehled Během několika desetiletí se dopravní inženýři vytrvale zaměřovali na zavádění různých opatření ke zvýšení bezpečnosti řidičů a chodců uprostřed rostoucího provozu na ulicích po celém světě. Tyto naléhavé obavy pramení z neustálého růstu počtu vozidel, chodců a hustoty silnic. S pozoruhodným pokrokem ve výpočetním výkonu a současným snížením nákladů na technické vybavení se však integrace detekce objektů ukázala jako životaschopné řešení, a to i v aplikacích v reálném čase v oblasti dopravního inženýrství. Je však nezbytné poznamenat, že dopad počítačových technologií daleko přesahuje problémy související s mobilitou.
