Detekce těchto cílů je nezbytná z hlediska zvyšujícího se bezpečnostního rizika v současné době. Současná generace primárních radarových systémů nemají dostatečnou rozlišovací, detekční či klasifikační schopnost pro detekci těchto cílů. Článek se věnuje koncepci vývoje nového signálového zpracování v primárních radarových systémech, které využijí více informací a umožní následnou detekci cílů s malou odraznou plochou.
eng	The Analysis of Small RCS Target Detection in Primary Radar System	This paper describes the challenges of detecting small-RCS targets using current generation primary radar systems. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and drones are representative of small-RCS targets which pose serious safety issues these days. The current generation primary radar systems do not have sufficient detection, resolution and classification capabilities to detect such targets.
