eng Simulation as a Support for Operative Control Related to Railway and Logistic Nodes Simulation as an experimental research methodology is traditionally used in so called off-line regime, i.e. simulation model is not interconnected (on-line) with simulated system. On the other hand it exists a need in some real systems to realize simulation as a support for operative control. In that case it is supposed to be used a concept of on-line simulation, which enables to realize number of simulation trials (reflecting the current on-line status of simulated system), the results of which are still appplicable to reality in time, when those trials are finished. The paper describes the mentioned methodology and innovative approches of on-line simulation in a strong connection of railway and logistic node domain. real-time/on-line simulation, operative control, railway node
