The project combines artificial intelligence and librarianship for the purpose of attribution of handmade book bindings. The result will be a utility model of a device enabling rapid automated determination of the authorship of book bindings based on image data processing. The project results have high potential for use in memory institutions with book collections and will thus contribute to improving the quality of care for works of written culture.
