Description:
The aim of the project is a patent-protected taste disorder test with image evaluation using AI for use in telemedicine (European patent application already submitted). The added value of the test is the standardized examination of taste disorders without the assistance of medical personnel, including side examination. The development is a collaboration between the Faculty of Health Studies, Faculty of Chemical Technology, and Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, University of Pardubice. The outcome will be a widely clinically and/or layman-friendly usable test kit, with the business model being the sale/rental of the license.
