Description:
We got 6 pieces of programmable logic controllers Modicon from Schneider Electric in the project IRS2015/032 Process Control Laboratory Innovation. As a gift we obtained HMI Magelis and SW SoMachine - development environment for PLC and HMI. PLC were fitted into frames and equipped with buttons and light controls, so six laboratory tasks can be immediately used for teaching undergraduate and master's students. They will be supplemented by individual automation logic control problems, so that students learn how to connect and control peripheral devices such as frequency converters, DC, asynchronous and stepper motors, sensors of non-electrical quantities, and so on. One physical task for logic control will be developed through the project. Industrial components will be used so students would gain experience according to the state of industrial practice.
