New modeling and identification methods for model predictive control

Provider: Univerzita Pardubice
Programme: Studentská grantová soutěž
Implementation period: 01.01.15 - 31.12.15
Workplace:
Team member: Honc Daniel
Description:
Predictive control is a very popular modern control method, both in industry and in the academic area. Practically it is a numerical optimization where the optimal future control actions are calculated on the basis of selected criteria minimization. Only the first element form the vector of calculated control action is used and the whole procedure is repeated for the shifted horizon and the current state of the controlled system (actually measured system output is known). Sufficiently accurate dynamic model of the controlled system is a critical condition for the practical use. The project will study and practically verify the possibility of modeling and identification of dynamic systems for the needs of predictive controllers.
