Laboratory exercises represent an essential part of technical subject education. Students can practice their theoretical knowledge but also learn the technical means they will meet in practice. The result is not only the reduction of their study failure, but also improvement of graduates status in the labor market. The Department of Process Control laboratories do not have adequate capacity, so the students can to a greater extent undertake practical exercises. Our possibilities are very limited especially in the area of logic controllers programming - three workplaces for around 30 students in the study year are insufficient. Therefore, we propose to equip the laboratory PL101 with six new logic control workplaces.
