The faculty offers two three-year full time bachelor study programmes.
These are only taught through the Czech language.
After completion of a bachelor thesis and passing of a state final exam, graduates receive the title "Bachelor" (abbr. Bc.).

Study Programme: Information Technology

Branch of Study:    Information Technology

The goal of this branch of study is to train specialists able to run information systems and their modules. Focus is put mainly on the methods of  information processing, programming languages, database creation and management, application of system analysis, management and service of computer networks.

Graduates are expected to find employment in the following professional areas:

  • design and development of information systems and software (analyst, programmer)
  • development and management of internet applications
  • administration of  a company`s information and communication infrastructure (database, network and information systems administrator)


Study Programme: Electrical Engineering and Informatics

Branch of Study:    Communication and Microprocessor Technology

The goal of this branch of study is to prepare specialists for work in the electrical engineering industry and other branches specialized in microprocessor and computer applications – management, control and diagnostics of electrical systems and equipment.

Graduates are expected to find employment in the following professional areas:

  • development and production of electrical devices and equipment of computer and communication technology
  • output and technical control, testing and measuring centres
  • solution of systems for electronic security, identification and access systems

Branch of Study:    Process Management

The goal of this branch of study is to prepare specialists for management and operation of control and information systems, especially production processes.
The study focuses on the following areas:
-information technologies (methods of information processing, programming languages, databases, computer networks)
-electrical engineering (basic circuits, using of microprocessors, electrical measurements)
-process management (modelling and simulation, automation, regulation circuits, control systems)

Graduates are expected to find employment in these professional areas:

 - maintenance, administration and design of measuring, control and information systems of technological (production) processes
 - management, diagnostics and maintenance of automation, safety and similar equipment
 - administration of information and communication company infrastructure
